My Top Five Favorite Concert Photos From 2009

In 2009, I was finally able to get back into photography and was fortunate enough to shoot some really great concerts. The photography opened doors to some very memorable opportunities that I would not have been a part of otherwise. I photographed my first concerts in Wrigley Field and Soldier Field which was amazing. I was asked to work backstage shooting video and taking photos for 93XRT during Lollapalooza for the third year in a row. I was able to meet and talk with a few bands including the Sam Roberts Band who are some of the most down to earth and laid back individuals I have ever met. And lastly, The Flaming Lips dressed me up in costume to photograph their show from the stage. That was truly a memorable experience.

While I had some great times out at these events, I am also very proud of the work I turned out. That being said, I put together my top 5 shots from 2009 below.
