Last night I photographed the U2 360° Tour at Soldier Field for Jack FM. It was the first of two nights here in Chicago and the kickoff to the U.S. leg of their tour. The stage they built for this tour was ridiculous and definitely as much a part of the show as the music. The video screen above the band seamlessly wrapped all the way around the stage so that people could see it from any angle.
They had all of the photographers positioned just inside the catwalk ring and we were allowed to shoot the first three songs before being escorted out of the stadium. My good buddy Will Byington was shooting for XRT and also got some great shots that you can check out here: Will’s U2 Photos.
